A Fantastic Result!

AS part of the PR for the opening of the Oxford shop we teamed up with a local charity called Helen & Douglas House which gives respite care to terminally ill children and their parents. They invented a new flavour (Banana and Chocolate) and we sold it in shop to raise money. Since opening we have raised a whopping £900! Well done Dave and team. Here is Leah the fudge's inventor with Dave and our great big cheque!

New Year New Flavour - THE RESULT

After a long and grueling taste test of 20 flavours, the winner this year of the New Year New Flavour, is........Edingburgh's Turkish Delight, it came 5th in the competition it is now the official winner as Canterbury's "Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough" had won but was disqualified as it had artificial colours and flavours in, something of a taboo in the Fudge Kitchen world.
So here are the results and flavours for you, and if you have the Home Kit then we suggest making some too!

5th Place Edinburgh's Turkish Delight
4th Place Windsor's Butter Fudge
3rd Place Windsor's Treacle Fudge
2nd Place Cambridge's Hot Cross Bun
1st Place Canterbury's Cookie Chip Cookie Dough.

But in real 1st Place was Edingburgh's Turkish Delight Fudge which came last. But is now 1st... Even though Cambridge was 2nd and if Canterbury's Fudge was disqualified then surely 2nd Place would become 1st Place and.. oh nevermind!

These chaps and chapettes will experiment with a myriad of weird and wacky concoctions in an attempt to win this prestigious competition. Pop down to your local Fudge Kitchen and see how their idea is coming along, perhaps sample some of its fudgey goodness and if you think you can come up with a better flavour let us know. If we think it's truly as wonderful as you do then perhaps we'll give it a try!!
