On April 30th, days after celebrating with The 30 Batches Race in our Fudge Kitchen stores, we opened our very first standalone production facility in East Kent, supported by The Regional Growth Fund.

It was a night of fudge fun and fizz, with Fudge Making Competitions , a Fudge Tasting Station and guided Tours around our shiny new production facility. Our fudge experts were busy creaming , pouring, cutting decorating , dipping , wrapping and packing … Willy Wonka eat your heart out!

Both Produced in Kent and Celebrity Chef Richard Phillips attended the evening, and he was kind enough to say :

“What’s absolute class here,” he said, as he cut the ribbon launching the latest exciting Fudge Kitchen phase, “is that there is no skimping on ingredients, but you can tell by eating this fudge that this is quality, and there’s love that’s gone into making it. This is all produced from the heart.“
