Canterbury is proud to be hosting this years conference and excited to have all the top makers using our shop.

As Canterbury’s team are the current holders of the trophy, Won at last years awards in Cambridge by Suzanne and Mikey, we’ll come out fighting hard to try hold on to our award, No-doubt we will see the same spirit from all the other participants. If your in the area of the Canterbury shop on the 30th’ish October then stop by.

You might even see the lot of us dressed as characters from ‘Canterbury Tales’ later on that evening for the actual Award Ceremony.

TV FAME FOR EDINBURGH FUDGE MAKER

July 27th, 2007 by sian

Deano (longtime fudge maker and fudge impresario) set off to Manchester this week for the filming of the first episode of the new BBC2 TV show ‘Identity’.  Having been chosen from the masses as an ideal candidate for the re-vamp of the ‘whats my line’ format, he joined a variety of other mystery guests that the contestant had to match with a list of secrets; hosted by the great Donny Osmond no less!  You can catch the programme around 4 p.m. in  August on the Beeb.

Meet Whitey the Chocolate Kitty

July 9th, 2007 by fudgeblog editor

chocolate kittyWell here’s phase one of an experiment I’m trying. This is my kitty chocolate made in a latex cast I moulded myself on a clay kitty model I made. I’ve also got a little doggie cast as well which I will try later. (yes I have far too much time on my hands in the evening)

I am going to attempt next to make a fudge kitty and see if it holds. (I apparantly have too much free time at work as well!). Sez.
